Wet at Amazon Only £9.98!
The game Wet is only £9.98 at Amazon which seems a good price for this game and while Gamestation also have it at the same price the next cheapest is a couple of pounds more expensive.
WET is a highly-stylized third person shooter that seamlessly blends gun play, sword kills and over-the-top acrobatics to create the ultimate interactive action experience. The game allows you to shoot anywhere, anytime. You will have the freedom to shoot while running, sliding down ladders, sliding across the floor, or performing any number of acrobatic moves. Featuring an ironic mix of humour and violence, unique retro film visual treatment, and original 70s inspired music, WET is a third- person shooter experience unlike any other.
When Rubi Malone, a gun-for-hire, agrees to fix a wealthy mans problem by finding and bringing back his wayward son, she thinks the job is going to be cut and dry. She thought wrong. The job turns out to be more complicated than expected and the man who hired her isn't who he appears to be. On the run and looking for the man who betrayed her, Rubi is leaving a massive body count in her wake.
Three Types of Gameplay Seamlessly combines three types of gameplay: 360 degree slip-aiming mechanics, sword fighting and acrobatic abilities
Acclaimed Writer Duppy Demitrius Written by Demitrius who is best known for his work on the action-packed TV series 24

Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Map Pack Out
The Modern Warfare 2 map pack is out at a whopping 1200 Microsoft Points for what is essentially 3 maps with 2 old ones chucked in. It is a good game but the amount of issues with it is unbelievable. Even this DLC had problems and requires a patch to make it work properly. For me I think this should have been cheaper, included a couple of spec-ops missions, a couple of new achievements all for 800 points to give something to the fans and also to apologise for some of the problems with the game.

Major Nelsen account hacked!
Major Nelsen who is the face of Xbox Live has had his account hacked. He normally releases information about new games and deals. The hackers lightzz claim responsibility for this hack and disgracefully even offer to hack accounts for a fee even on the hacked profile.

USB Memory Support Hitting the Xbox 360
It has been confirmed that USB memory support will be coming to the Xbox 360 on April 6th. This support will allow you to add up to 32GB of memory to your Xbox! You can have two memory devices each up to 16GB - (it is a shame it is not unlimited but I can see why Microsoft would not do that as they would never sell their overpriced hard drives. This is still a big step in the right direction and will really help those with Aracades or 20GB memories!
Xbox Live - Why it`s worth it
Xbox Live is the online section of the Xbox 360 games console. Xbox Live gives you lots of benefits and really lets you get the most of the Xbox 360. Without Xbox Live you really are not getting the most out of your Xbox!
There are two levels of membership, Silver and Gold. Silver membership lets you download demos, talk to your friends and send messages to them and buy, download and update content through the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Gold membership lets you do all this and also has other bonuses including Xbox Live Parties which let you talk to your friends even if you are playing different games which is very handy, download new content up to a week before Silver members and most importantly be able to play games online with other players which makes nearly all games much more fun and increases their lifespan. Gold members also get special offers every week whether DLC for half price, an arcade game with a third off or just a theme.
The only disadvantage about the service is you have to pay a small fee if you want to be a Gold member. This is about £35 online for a year and there are some sites that email you the code which are even cheaper! However with other consoles such as the Wii and PS3 online play is free. It`s main opposition is PSN the Playstation 3 online which is free but much worse.
For example the games are much more laggy online, have less support, less features and is basically not as good as well as more people have Xbox Live. I think the fee is well worth it though as Xbox Live is better than the other online services with more players, better connections and speed, more features and it is updated often with new features such as Sky Player if you have Sky, Facebook and Twitter coming soon and the excellent new 1 vs 100! They are also in the process of making a new free game for Gold members called Joyride which looks lots of fun!
Playing games online usually works really well with matches having little lag and you can find a match quite quickly normally! Games like Fifa 10 and Call of Duty are great fun online and makes the games last longer and makes them much more fun!
Xbox live just enhances the Xbox experience whether using the friends list, watching videos (xbox related) or movies which you can pay to watch, playing online, playing with friends, talking with friends, making new friends, sending messages, watching Sky Player, using Twitter, listening to music using Last.fm, downloading demos, arcade games which are smaller games but there are some brilliant ones and they are cheaper than retail games, indie games, updating games and downloading extra content to make games last longer, add new maps, missions e.t.c and the list literally goes on and on!
If you have an Xbox 360 you really do need Xbox Live to get the full experience and without it really are missing out on lots of fun, cool, interesting and good things.

Crackdown Review
I bought this game pre owned for about £6 at Game expecting to be an average GTA copy cat. It is created by the GTA creator and when released had a Halo 3 beta code which was why it was so popular. You might be thinking this is just a rubbish game with a code for one of the most popular games ever.
This game is a free roaming, shooting game only available on the Xbox 360 console. The idea is you are working with the Peacekeepers basically Police to get rid of the gangs in the city. Each gang controls their own island and the gangs are Los Muertos, The Volk and Shai-Gen. You play the character of an agency super person who has many special abilities which as you advance through the game improve. The game is slightly cartoony which works very well.
My favourite thing about this game is the free roaming and how you can just drive and jump around the city. This brings me onto my next point on the game you can jump onto any building and cling onto nearly any object creating a whole new world and making the map seem twice as big. It is great fun jumping up buildings and trying to work out how to get up each one.
For each gang there are 7 different leaders including the boss. Each time you kill one of these leaders the gang is made worse and the main boss is weaker. For example killing a leader may mean the gang have less powerful weapons.
On the islands there are lots of supply points which you can capture. If you capture a supply point you can change your weapons and get full ammo. When you die you regenerate and choose a supply point to come back to getting you around the island quicker.
The game also includes a fantastic selection of vehicles including cars, lorries, vans and then special agency vehicles at the agency supply point where you start the game. These agency vehicles include a Supercar, SUV and a lorry. I nearly always choose the SUV or the Supercar as these are my favourites. As your driving skill gets better you can do better stunts in the air e.t.c
Your character has many special abilities including strength, driving, agility, firearms and explosives. The driving skill can be improved by killing enemies while driving and performing stunts and tricks. There are also races which will improve your driving skill if you complete them.
Strength is improved by throwing objects at gangs and killing them by punching or kicking them as well. As your strength improves you can pick up cars and lorries to throw at gangs which is pretty cool!
Agility can be improved by finding green agility orbs which are usually on buildings and there are 500 to collect. Agility can also be improved by killing people from high up and completing roof top races. You can also improve agility by finding hidden orbs similar to the agility orbs but harder to find but these improve all your abilities at the same time. Agility makes you jump higher and run faster and is one of the most important abilities.
Firearms skill can be improved by shooting and killing gangs with guns. You can shoot any part of a gang member`s body and as your skill builds up it is easier to kill people.
Explosives can be built up the same as firearms but just by using grenades and other types of explosives and makes grenades e.t.c more powerful.
Graphics
The graphics on Crackdown are brilliant and have a cartoony style to them this makes the game look great in its own way. The graphics are really nice and are another good thing about this excellent game.
Multiplayer and Xbox Live
Sadly this game does not let you play two players on the same console which is a shame. However you can connect to Xbox Live and play coop mode.
On Xbox Live there is lots of extra content and some are free and some are not. One of the free downloads gives you extra characters. Other content to download such as extra races, multiplayer challenges and even some new agency vehicles for about 600 -800 Microsoft points (roughly £3 - £5 depending on where you get your points from.)
Conclusion
This game does not disappoint and is not just some duff game with a code. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to buy it. It is really cool jumping around, driving vehicles and throwing cars! This game is great fun but the story mode is quite short.
This game is quite cheap and can be found at a good price if you look around. I recommend you buy this game because there is so much fun to be had!

Fable 2 Review
Fable 2 is an action RPG game that is a bit different from most of the other games I have. It is all about choices as well and morality and your choices affect the whole world. You can be good saving people's lives, giving money to people and eating carrots! Or you can be evil and kill everyone, have sex with prostitutes and eat lots of pies! It is really interesting seeing the consequences your choices have on the world and you really do shape the world which is called Albion.
Gameplay is quite addictive and although you could probably complete the three part main mission in a few hours there is so much more to do. There are many side quests to do, jobs to have, expressions to use, people to marry or to kill and just have fun! I got the Game of the Year Edition for just £12 something recently from TheHut.com and this included all the DLC which adds more quests to the game! The Game of the Year Edition also gives you more achievements and the achievements for this game are of a really high quality and varied. You get some for kicking chickens, some for completing the main missions, some for becoming rich and another example is one for becoming 100% corrupt or pure!
The fighting is not that important in the game in a way and sort of basic. You can either use melee type attacks, shoot your enemies from long range or use some cool magic spells on your enemies! There are quite a few different types of enemies to keep you on your toes and some can be quite difficult to kill! When an enemy dies you can collect experience which allows you to learn new abilities and help you. For example become tougher, learn a new spell or become better at a new one or say unlock sub targeting meaning there are many fun and different ways to fight! One major flaw is that if you die you lose some experience and get a new scar making you slightly less attractive - oh no! They should make it so you have to do the last bit all over again!
You can also just roam around Albion and do whatever you want. You can try to buy nearly all the houses and shops and become rich, marry people (as many times as you want) or just use expressions on people! The people of Albion are brilliant and all have different likes and dislikes! The expressions are really cool and vary from dancing to farting to giving someone the finger or pick up lines! The people are also really funny and as it is a British game it has a British sort of humour!
You can play co-op but it really does not work well and I would not recommend it! A nice feature though is that you can make it so can see everyone who is playing the game and doing so can see their stats, give them gifts and communicate!
Also there are many other things to do like shoot all the gargoyles, open all the demon doors, becoming the ruler of Albion, buy everything in sight, change your clothes, get a tattoo, have sex, kill everything and so much more it really is a fun game!
I really do like this game although some people really don`t like it! I find it really fun and love the choices aspect and think it has great replay value. I also like the achievements for the game and would recommend the game to anyone with an Xbox 360. This game is an Xbox exclusive though so PS3 owners will have to miss it!

SSX Tricky (PS2) Review
SSX Tricky is an old Playstation 2 game. It is an arcade snowboarding game.
In SSX Tricky you take the role snowboarder and you try to become the best. In the career mode you either race your opponents and see who came finish first or try and pull off the best tricks and get the most points.
The graphics are surprisingly good for a PS2 game and the characters all look pretty good and really good for the time. There are also a wide range of fun courses to take part in and they keep the game interesting and fun! There are a wide variety of tricks to pull off and whether you try to learn some cool ones or press random buttons it is good fun! Whenever you pull off a good trick you get a little speed boost which makes completing tricks an important part of the game.
I have not played this game for a long time as I have not played my Playstation 2 for a long time but out of about 50 or more PS2 games I would say this is in my top 5! I actually found it a really fun and enjoyable game and have played for quite a long period of time!
Overall this is a really good game and must be the best snowboarding game ever!

Avatar (Film) Review
This is my first review of a non gaming product but I felt I would add it to the site as it is of Avatar and it is a pretty decent review!
Avatar is set in the future where the Earth has become a wasteland and has very little resources left. This means corporations have started to try to get a precious mineral from an alien planet named Pandora. This weird planet is inhabited by aliens called the Na`vi who are massive blue creatures who do look quite similar to humans. The humans consider the Na`vi savages and are determined to try to get the resources they want.
A picture of a Na`vi
Jake Sully`s twin brother has been killed so he has to take his place. The catch is though that he is disabled and is in a wheelchair! He has to take his brother`s role in the Avatar program. Scientists have discovered a way for humans to go in a pod and become a Na`vi with a mix of human and Na`vi DNA. The humans want the minerals and either are going to get the Na`vi to move or just go through them!
The first thing to say is that the special effects are impressive and that they make the action look really cool and spectacular! There is lots of action and the fact Pandora is a strange world means they can use the special effects to make strange creatures in a fantastic scenery and as a result it all looks brilliant! It looks particularly impressive in some of the fighting scenes! The 3D is not overused though and there is not every minute something coming out at you which is good!
The acting is really good and the main parts are played very well! Whether it`s the colonel who wants to smash through everything and could not care less about the Na`vi or Jake who gets stuck in a tricky situation as he realises he can do everything he could not do before and befriends some of the Na`vi! He has some really tough decisions to make about who`s team he is on.
I thought the story reminded me of the Red Indians and Cowboys and the Cowboys are the humans doing whatever they want and not caring what happens to the actual real inhabitants and just invading like savages!
The plot is pretty good but saying that is nothing amazing. It is a little obvious and cliché at times but was still quite good. The film is an epic at 162 minutes long and while it does feel like it goes on for a long time and is probably the longest film I have ever watched it is never that boring!
I think this film is a massive achievement though mainly due to the special effects and technology that has been used in this film!
If it were not for the other elements of the film - people would just say it was a good film. Basically what I am trying to say is that without the special effects and huge budget this would just be a good film! I would definitely say that without 3D it would only be pretty good and I would not say that you had to see it but with 3D it is probably worth anyone`s time just for the experience!
Definitely worth watching and great special effects but not a fantastic plot!

The film runs for 162 minutes and is rated as a 12A. It is the highest grossing film of all time! See this interesting article of mine for the highest grossing films of all time!

It also has achieved many awards including 3 Oscars!
The New Xbox Experience!
The New Xbox Experience has been available for quite a long time now. It is a free update and its main purpose is to make the dashboard look prettier! It also provides a few other features and will update itself the first time you get Xbox Live and have some spare space.
One new feature that you notice straight away is the avatars. These are very similar to the Mii`s on the Wii and other things. You can customise many things about your avatar and even buy or download for free items for them. They also appear in a few games like Uno which makes it more interesting. The avatars are also viewable on your friend's list showing you people avatars as well as the games they are playing. This is now extended to unlocking avatars awards and this feature has just started. These are rewards that when you doing something in a game you get an avatar item and I look forward to this being used more. It is only used in a handful of games at the moment most notably Left 4 Dead 2. I am looking forward to get a football shirt from Fifa!
The menus have also changed and look better for it. You now go up and down and then left to right and it is just better than the previous dashboard.
1 vs 100 also was promised with the update and has now arrived. It is a great free quiz game and you can win prizes like Microsoft points, free games and even cars. This is also one of the games that uses your avatar and it is quite good fun!
Anyway this is a pretty cool update well worth having if you have not already got it and it adds some cool new features!

Stuntman Ignition Review
Just one more review today and that is of another racing game Stuntman Ignition!
Stuntman Ignition is a racing game for the Xbox 360 but the difference between this and most racing games is here you are a stuntman and must perform stunts for various movies.
To complete the scene you must follow the director's instructions. For example you may be told to do a U turn, crash into a car, go over a ramp and swerve round a car while in a chase scene trying to keep up with another car. You get a number of strikes and if you fail all of these you will have to do the whole scene again. I really like this idea and find it enjoyable to play a different type of racing game. The films are quite clever as well and are very different! If you want to get really high scores you have to try and "string" stunts together. You do this by doing all the stunts but while doing this use a drift or go close to a car to keep the stunt going!
You can also make your own sort of stunt park and choose what objects you want where. However this mode is not very good as there are not many different objects and you have a small limit to what you can do. You can also play multiplayer online and offline multiplayer. However online there is about 1 player playing the game at a time so that is basically useless! However offline is pretty good and there are two modes. On where you try and do the best stunts and one is a race.
The graphics are quite good and the different cars and bikes e.t.c. are quite good and there is nothing wrong with them. The sound is also quite good.
Overall this is a good game and a little bit different!

Trials HD Review
Well I thought I would get the ball rolling quickly and post up my Trials HD review.
When I first heard of the game I did actually wonder if it involved you being a judge in a court or something and certainly did not sound great! However I found it was a motorbike game and started to get interested in it!
I did decide to buy Trials HD and thought it sounded quite good. I would now call the game like a motorbike racing puzzle game! The main aim of the game is to get from one place to another in as quick a time as possible and with the least amount of crashes. However to get to the finish line you will have to pull off some cool stunts and try to stay on your feet (well bike) and trying to manoeuvre your way around the landscape.
The game is mostly great fun and very addictive and you will find yourself coming back to it for more and more. You will however get frustrated when on the hard difficulties especially on the last few levels are stuck on the same section about 50 times in a row and then realise how to do it and conquer it and then repeat the whole process again for the next section about 10 sections after it! However there are leaderboards to prove your times and you can also watch videos of how the top people did the level and can even see what buttons they pressed which can be helpful.
To get through the game you will have to use common sense and have lots of patience. You will need to work out that you should tip the bike forward when landing at this time and then reverse and then do a flip and then accelerate as hard as you can at certain points and you need to basically keep the riders balance while trying to get the quickest time - a hard task!
There is also a skill mode with a few minigame which is nowhere as good as the main game but is a good distraction. One of these involves rolling around in a giant ball and trying to survive for as long as possible!
There is also a level creator which is great fun and has lots of options and if you spent a little time you could make some great tracks to play on. One problem with this though is the fact that you cannot download anyone's custom tracks and only those on your friends list which could stop you from getting some awesome tracks!
The graphics are really cool and a mix of 2D and 3D and old and new. They work really well and the game looks great!
Overall trials HD is a brilliant game and lots of fun and one I would recommend!
The game is available for 1200 Microsoft Points from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
